3rd Street Vanilla Latte
Vanilla, done the way we think it should be done.
The 3rd Street Vanilla is named for the stretch of 3rd Street that runs past our front window — the one where the morning light comes in sideways around 7:30 in the summer. The drink is a classic vanilla latte with a whisper of warm cinnamon behind the vanilla, which is the part most places leave out. The espresso stays intact underneath. Nothing turns to milkshake.
Tasting Notes
- Flavor: French vanilla forward, warm cinnamon lingering behind, espresso still present
- Body: silky latte weight
- Finish: clean vanilla, no candy-sweet aftertaste
How We Build It
Two pumps French vanilla plus a quarter pump of cinnamon syrup in the 12oz — we scale one pump up or down per size. Then it's a standard latte build: double shot (single for the 10oz), whole milk steamed to just under 150°F, tulip in the foam. Swap milk standard. If you want it half-sweet, say so and we'll drop one pump.
Perfect For
The person easing into flavored lattes who doesn't want a milkshake in a cup. The morning drink for a long drive. Pairs with glazed donuts, cinnamon rolls, or anything with a touch of brown sugar in the recipe.
