Main Avenue Mocha
The mocha that remembers the espresso.
Named for the Main Avenue corridor and built for the person who always orders mochas but is tired of the sweet ones. The chocolate is still here — dark Ghirardelli, not the candy stuff — but there's an extra shot built into the recipe, so the espresso stays in charge all the way through the sip. Dense foam, chocolate chip rim, chocolate-forward finish with espresso heat on the back.
Tasting Notes
- Flavor: dark Ghirardelli chocolate, extra espresso bite, chocolate chips on the rim
- Body: dense, foam-structured, no thin spots
- Finish: chocolate forward, espresso heat behind
How We Build It
Three pumps dark chocolate sauce plus an extra espresso shot built into the recipe — this isn't an upcharge, it's part of the drink. Whole milk steamed to just under 150°F. Chocolate chip rim is the visual signature; we press the rim into chopped chips before the drink gets poured. Swap milk standard.
Perfect For
The afternoon mocha that still lets you drive home. The drink for the person who's tired of their regular mocha but doesn't want to abandon the chocolate. Pairs with citrus pastries — orange scones, lemon bars — in a way the sweeter mochas can't.
